I've read a lot of good reviews about that Bag of Bones miniseries. I didn't watch it, but I've put it into my Netflix queue for when it comes out on DVD, now that I know it'll be worth my time. (I'm already a Pierce Brosnan fan, so I know I'll be happy with the Mike Noonan character!)

I don't think there's a movie in the works (at least not yet) for Duma Key. But Jonathan Demme is signed on to film the brand new book, 11/22/63.

I thought Duma Key was an excellent book, and I'd love to see a movie version. Mind you, there are some bits I'll have to watch with my hands over my eyes and a friend to tell me when the icky part is over, but that's how you know it's a good Stephen King movie. :)

I haven't seen Bag of Bones yet, but I assume A&E will re-air it at some point--if not, SyFy seems to pick up all Stephen King movies eventually. :)

The Dark Tower is so worth a read. You won't regret it. I did NOT like the Bag of Bones adaption on A&E. Of course I don't usually like the adaptions of Sai King's books. This one just was bad.... really bad.

I just finished A&E's Bag of Bones. I really enjoyed the book. I did NOT enjoy the movie. It wasn't one of the worst I've ever seen, but it was obviously NOT written or directed by Frank Darabont, who unquestionably does the best SK adaptations. I made myself sit through the whole thing, because I felt that I should. But I could've easily turned it off less than half an hour into it.

i was dissapointed in the way Bag of Bones (the movie) ended. if i recall (and i wont spoil for those who havent seen the movie), thats not how the scene was set in the movie (as far as Maddies death). i am hoping to go to book store today to get a few of the Dark Towers books. and hopefully get some reading in this weekend
